The Jawornik Valley in winter — snow-covered roofs and forested slopes

Hiking in Wisła does not have to start at a large car park. From the Jawornik Valley you can walk out of the guesthouse, follow a quiet path and decide whether the day should be short or long.

Start with conditions, not ambition

Check the forecast, warnings and sunset time before you leave. If you travel with children or are returning after a break, begin with a shorter route. You can always add a loop; shortening a distant plan is harder.

A short walk from the valley

A walk towards the forest, a moment beside the stream and a coffee back at the guesthouse can be a complete outing. Wear shoes with a firm sole even for an easy-looking path.

A longer day

Wisła is a base for Czantoria, Stożek, Trzy Kopce Wiślańskie and Barania Góra. Match the route to the weather and your energy, and keep a shorter variant in reserve.

Return is part of the plan

Most rooms have a balcony or terrace. You can also use the guest kitchen; a pool and spa are about 500 metres away when the trail ends earlier than planned.
